2018 Fantasy Battle Royale Week 1

Week 1 FOOTBALL IS HERE!!!

Congrats to this weeks winners!  Half of us are off to an undefeated season, while the rest sulk in defeat. Since I’ve been swamped at work this week, reigning league champion  Max Brown has done a great write up for this weeks matchups. The season has just begun and it already looks to be a good one. Some of the NFL’s highest scoring games were just this weekend.

Featured games

WEEK 1 EVERY ONE GETS A FEATURED GAME!!!

PutOut2Pasture vs. The Sackro-iliacs

Good old battle between the two non-family members. Max’s fears about drafting 3 RBs in the first 3 rounds and having too weak of WRs came true this week, where his WRs only put up 23 points compared to Chris’ 50. His 3 early RBs didn’t pay off enough to pull off the win vs. Chris’ teams’ old guys and one extremely talented young gun.

Bledsoedian vs. Commissioner Gordon

This week James absolutely disrespected Cory by not only beating him by 20 points but also by leaving his number one draft pick in his lineup even though he was declared out on Saturday! Bold choice by James, I guess he thought leaving Le’Veon in would motivate the rest of his team to play well and it looks like that was the case. Cory has already lost an early round pick in Jerrick McKinnon and the player he replaced him with, Peyton Barber looked really good on the field but not for fantasy points. This led to Cory having the lowest score of the week. Hopefully he can turn it around and actually score this week.

Carol’s Cool Team vs. Sam Da Man

And BOOOM just like that, Carol is back to her previous season dominance. She put up the most points of anyone this week on the backs of good performances from ALL her players which leads to consistency down the line. Already marking herself as a big target this year again. Sam actually had a decent week but had some unfortunate performances from his RBs, and has limited upside due to starting 3 Falcons players, a team which only scored 12 points this week on 0 touchdowns. If Sam can get a week where the Falcons crush it then he should be in great shape.

Girls Rule vs. Hyde and Zeke

Girls really do rule this week, as all 5 of the ladies in our league managed to win their matchup. After a pretty meh performance last year, Kim comes out swinging with the third highest score of the week. With phenomenal performances by Kamara and Rivers, who can do performance like that consistently, Kim’s year is looking good going forward. Brendan did not do too bad but not too good either. With only really one dud on his team this week, he should be happy with his team but unfortunately it just wasn’t quite enough to take down Kim.

Hondo’s Gridiron vs. Meg’s Cooper Troopers

Despite Meg’s namesake putting up a dismal 2.3 points on one catch she still managed to pull out the win this week. Her other 2 WRs went ham and she had a really good performance from Melvin Gordon as well. Good thing we only do -1 point for interceptions because Matthew Stafford had 4 of them. Hondo’s team has its up and (mostly) downs, but he has a lot of talent on that team. If they can live up to their potential he has some good weeks coming up.

Mo’s Men Minus James vs. Yago’s Team Totality

Although Morgan had some pretty abysmal performances by Doug Baldwin, Kareem Hunt and Derrick Henry, her powerhouse Saints stack of Drew Brees and Michael Thomas carried her to the second most points in the league and a win over Todd. Joe Mixon not looking half bad either. Todd had some pretty bad performances from his team, including his first round pick Fournette, and his QB Dak Prescott. With Delanie Walker likely out for the season, things aren’t looking great for Todd, hopefully he can make some savvy waiver pickups and turn his season around.

Injuries

Already were off with a tough start to the season. Doug Baldwin, Leonard Fournette and my man Greg Olsen are all on the hit list this week. This weeks waivers should be interesting with more than a handful of potential breakout players.

Fantasy Battle Royale Week 15

Week 15 and the Semi Finals are done!

Congrats to this weeks winners!  The dust settles and then there were two. Mo’s Men Minus James pulls off the underdog upset while Ty-Hill-Sachs Lesion has the highest score of the week once again.

Featured Games

Carol’s Cool Team vs Mo’s Men Minus James

This was the match to watch this week. Carol’s Cool Team started out with a huge lead on Saturday. That night the chiefs looked like they were back to their early season form. “Krispy” Kareem Hunt threw both the chiefs and Cool Team on his back. Rushing for 155 yards, a rushing touchdown, catching 7 of 9 targets for 51 yards, and another touchdown through the air. Carol’s Cool Team had some under performers that night but Kareem made up the difference and they looked poised for a win. Sunday morning things started slow for Mo’s Men Minus James. Johnathan Stewart looked like he took the week of after rushing for a measly 3.6 points compared to his 28 points last week. All of Mo’s Men’s Receivers decided not to show up either. All three combined for under 7 points. The mid day games started and Carol’s Cool Team was the favorite. Mo’s Men weren’t giving up though. Team owner Morgan Bledsoe personally sat down with the remaining players and gave an inspiring speech.

“We may be the under dogs but we have the heart. We have come a long way this season and have missed playoffs by 1 spot too many times to let this pass us by. This is our year! Our time to shine!”

Mo’s Men heard their owners cries and as the Seahawks Rams game started there was electricity in the air. Todd Gurley showed why he is the #1 Fantasy Running back this year. Rushing 21 times he crushed the Seahawks for 152 yards and not one, not two, but three touchdowns on the ground before adding 3 catches for another 28 yards and a 4th touchdown through the air. 42 points later Gurley turned it over to the Rams Defense. In a direct fight against Carol’s Cool Team’s QB Russel Wilson the Rams stepped up play after play. Sack after sack Wilson was brought down behind the line as the Rams ran away with the game 42-7. The comeback was started but Carol’s Cool Team still held the lead heading into Monday night. The first quarter started out shaky with neither Sanu or Devonta Freeman making any ground. The second quarter was a different story though. With Falcons RB Tevin Coleman out from a concussion Freeman was the teams main work horse constantly ripping off big runs against a porous Buccaneers defense. Both the leading rusher and receiver Freeman carried the baton to the finish line and clenched the win for Mo’s Men Minus James.

Hondo’s Gridiron vs Ty-Hill-Sachs Lesion

A more somber battle took place on the other side of the bracket. Starting out as a great match up Hondo’s Gridiron and Ty-Hill-Sachs Lesion had a back and forth battle. Minnesota DST coming out hot and Baltimore showing up late to answer back. Marvin Jones over taking T.Y. Hilton only for Tyreek Hill to come back over top. It looked like it was going to be a close one until the house of cards came tumbling down for the Gridiron greats. It started with WR Marquis Lee Injuring his ankle early in the day, #1 Fantasy WR Antonio Brown hurting his Calf in the mid day games, and RB Rex Burkhead spraining his knee in the night time game. With 3 injured players what looked like a great match came to a sad end. The Gridiron did their best but without their full man power they couldn’t hope to match Ty-Hill-Sachs Lesion’s powerful performance. The Lesion once again rolled lead by their Saints RBs. After the third injury of the day team owner Max Brown gave these words in a text to the league commissioner.

“Not the way I wanted to win but Ill take it, Might have to redistribute that injury award.”

Max was right about that. Losing players during the season is one thing, but losing 3 in the playoffs is a devastating way to end a season. For that Hondo’s Gridiron gets an honorable mention in the most injured team category.

Championship Preview

Here is the low down on this years Championship matchup. Each contender is just one win away away from the crown.

Mo’s Men Minus James vs Ty-Hill-Sachs Lesion

The Championship Match

This matchup looks like it will shape up to be a close one. While Mo’s Men Minus James is the predicted underdog their players matchups look good once again. Ty-Hill-Sachs Lesion has some good matchups also but they also have some tough ones. It looks like they have already benched Marquise Goodwin who is facing down a stout Jacksonville defense. This game is going to come down once again to if the Saints score on the ground or through the air and if RB Tevin Coleman comes back from his concussion or not.

Fantasy Pros.com has Ty-Hill-Sachs Lesion predicted to win over all. Here is the predicted breakdown at each position.

Positional Winners

QB: Mos Men Minus James
WR1: Mo’s Men Minus James
WR2: Mo’s Men Minus James
WR3: Ty-Hill-Sachs Lesion
RB1: Mo’s Men Minus James
RB2: Ty-Hill-Sachs Lesion
Flex: Ty-Hill-Sachs Lesion
K: Ty-Hill-Sachs Lesion
DST: Ty-Hill-Sachs Lesion

Best of luck to the both of you. The winner this week gets fame glory and gets to house the league trophy until next years champion is crowned.

Fantasy Battle Royale Week 14

Week 14 and the regular season is over!

Congrats to this weeks winners!  This season was a close one and people were shuffling for position all the way to the end. Id like to welcome to the playoffs Carol’s Cool Team, Ty-Hill-Sachs Lesion, Hondo’s Gridiron, and Mo’s Men Minus James. These four teams will face off in a single elimination combat to claim their throne as league champion and gain the honor of housing the  Battle Royale league trophy until the next champion is crowned.

Featured Games

There were some good matches this week, Carol took another loss, Kim had the biggest blowout, and Morgan secured the last playoff spot. Instead of going further into them though Im gonna be doing a closer look into the playoff teams and a recap of the regular season.

Playoff Preview

Here is the low down on this years playoff contenders. Each one of them is just two victories away from the crown.

Match 1

Normally Carol’s team would look like a sure thing, but with the injury to Carson Wentz the TE matchup here looks a lot closer than it normally would be. If Falcons RB TevinColeman doesn’t come back from concussion this week then I think it will be a lot closer than Yahoo thinks.

Carol’s Cool Team

The writing was on the wall early with this one. Claiming the the number 1 seed early in the season, Carol’s Cool Team started off hot with Krispy Kareem single handedly crushing each of her early opponents. While Kareem and the Chiefs have cooled off lately Carol’s team certainly has not. Not only has her team dodged any big injuries this season but her QB Russell Wilson is ending the season lights out as he has for the past two years. Carol’s weakest player is still the 24th ranked WR and her team is a true juggernaut and the favorite to win the championship.

Mo’s Men Minus James

On the other side of our first matchup is the 4th seed Mo’s Men Minus James. They have had a very up and down path to get here. Lead by the current #1 running back Todd Gurley, they started off with 2 wins before falling back down to a .500 team all the way until week 9 when they went 6-1 to finish the season and jump into the last playoff spot. While Mo’s Men minus James has the 4th least points for this season they shouldn’t be underestimated. They have made some solid moves this season and their points for sells their current team short. They may be the underdog in this matchup but many of their players have a great match up going into week 15.

Match 2

This one is gonna come down to two main games. Depending on if the Saints and Patriots score through the air or punch it in will really swing this matchup. If Antonio Brown has a big game then we might be seeing  a 3rd and 4th seed upset.

Ty-Hill-Sachs Lesion

Go Saints RBs! Ty-Hill-Sachs Lesion may be named after their receivers but don’t be fooled, this #2 seed has gotten to where they are at on the back of two players. Both Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamera are top 6 RBs and should put fear into any team facing them. The second most active team in the league, Ty-Hill-Sachs Lesion only has one player in their starting line up that also started in week 1. They made a risky move trading off their star QB Aaron Rodgers for a hopeful RB but boy did it pay off. Not only was Rodgers injured the very next game but Kamera has payed dividends. Their bold moves and determination has gotten them this far and they are hopeful that Kamera and Gronk will return this week so they can get things back on track.

Hondo’s Gridiron

On the heels of Carol’s Cool team all season Hondo’s Gridiron has been slipping for the past few weeks and is locked in as the 3rd seed for the playoffs. Hondo’s team is the third team to pass the 1400 points for mark. Their down spiral started with Zeke’s suspension leaving them down one of their star players. To fill that gap they traded away Carson Wentz for Alfred Morris who has done well but isn’t the week winning force that Zeke had been. Lead by the #1 WR Antonio Brown and touchdown magnet Jimmy Graham Hondo’s Gridion hopes to make it to week 16 where they will reunite with Zeke and ascend back to the team they once were.

Season Overview

This year has been a great one and looks to have an exciting finish. Not many people started inactive players and the league was more active than it has been in the past few years. Plenty of trades went through and although there were tons of big injuries the standings were crazy close. (Only two wins separate the bottom half of the league)

2017 Honorary Awards

Best Trade

This one is a close one. There were 7 different trades this season but two of them take the cake with a clear winner and loser.

Runner up: Mo’s Men Minus James

Mo’s Men Minus James takes second place for their trade of Alshon Jeffery and Ty Montgomery for Martavis Bryant and Todd Gurley. Although Bryant has been a non factor all year Gurley has gone on to be the seasons #1 RB. Combine that with the fact that Montgomery was injured the very next week and it seems that Mo’s Men must have some ESP avoiding a bullet that could near have ended their season.

Winner: Ty-Hill-Sachs Lesion

Another Bullet was dodged with this one. At one point in the season Ty-Hill-Sachs Lesion found them self with 3 of the top 4 QB in the league. Looking to sell off some of their depth they went with the risky move of selling yearly super star Aaron Rodgers and putting their faith in Texans rookie Deshaun Watson. It only took a minute of shopping Rodgers around until Ty-Hill-Sachs Lesion found a buyer. Cory’s Saved By Lev’Bells drooled at the chance to get their hands on a reliable QB and the trade of Aaron Rodgers and Austin Seferian Jenkins for Alvin Kamera and DeVante Parker was born. Even though Watson went on to get injured anyways Rodgers was the first QB to go down. In the very next game Rodgers suffered a broken collar bone while Kamera continued to average 14.7 points per game for the next 8 games. If you pinpoint where Ty-Hill-Sachs Lesion season took off this is it.

Toughest Schedule

Fantasy Football is already pretty random but one thing you cant control is who you play each week. The number of times you score the second most points only to face the top scorer can sometimes be heartbreaking. Here is a shout out to those who had to suffer through a storm of points that their opponents rained on them.

Honorable Mention: Sam Da Man

With a schedule maybe even tougher than the winner of this category Sam Da Man faced the toughest start to the season of any team. It wasn’t until week 6 that they faced a sub 100 point opponent. If it weren’t for the winner of this category putting up so many points for Sam Da Man would have taken it.

Runner up: Meg’s Cooper Troopers

Technically the most points against this year Meg’s Cooper Troopers had 237 more points scored against them than Mo’s Men Minus James had scored against them. That comes out to 17 more points a game the same as facing an extra QB every week. Meg’s Cooper troopers had to withstand bad beat after bad beat and this was the most evident in week two when they put up 133.78 points only to still lose to Cory’s Saved by Lev Bells who happened to have their best week of the year and stole the win by dropping 143.84 points.

Winner: Girls Rule

While not technically the most points against Girls rule wins this award by consistently playing top ranking teams each week. Meg’s Cooper Troopers may have had more points against, but they had most of their points against in just a hand full of weeks. Girls Rule only had one week with a sub 80 point opponent and over 1/2 of their weeks were against teams that put up over 100! They ended the season with the 4th most points for and yet instead of making the playoffs they have finished dead last due to just dumb luck.

Most Injured

Yet another factor out of our control. Injuries are never fun in real life or fantasy. Everybody just wants to see their guys on the field. When it does happen though it can spell disaster. This year was historically bad for top picks getting injured but in the end only one person can get this award. Here are the most banged up teams of 2017.

Runner up: Cory’s Saved by Lev Bells

A real close second and clocking in with the most injuries this year is Cory’s Saved By Lev Bells. Losing the #1 pick over all during the very first week of the season set the tone for what would be their season. Time after time they traded to fix the holes previous injuries had torn, but their new recruit would go out and get injured also. The Packers really did a number on the Saved by Lev Bells by having both RB Ty Montgomery and QB Aaron Rodgers not only getting injured the week after they were aquired, but Aaron Jones the Back up RB was also injured in a future week. Even though they didn’t make the playoffs their regular season was topped off by their most recent addition Carson Wentz heading to the IR to join the others.

David Johnson R1, Aaron Rodgers R3, Crabtree R5 (couple of weeks), Ty Montgomery R5, Davante Parker R6, Andrew Luck R8, Adrian Peterson R9, Charles Clay Undrafted, Aaron jones Undrafted, Carson Wentz Undrafted

Winner: Sam Da Man

Not quite the same number of injuries but it is truly astounding to have 5 of your top 6 picks get injured. Sam Da Man started the season with a minor injury to Odell Beckham Jr. He quickly returned only to lose Sam another week when he reinjured himself and had to be put on IR by the Giants. Over the next couple of weeks Sam Da Man’s players were getting blown up by defenders Davante Adams took a hit so hard that I could not believe he could walk let alone play football again. Near the mid season swing it looked like Sam Da Man may have found a shining light in his dull team. Rookie RB Dalvin Cook looked electric until week 5 when he tore his ACL and joined Beckham on the IR. Even going into the end of the season Sam Da Man couldn’t dodge some bad luck. Not technically an injury but two of his players were traded in the real NFL suffering not only a second bye week but having to learn an entirely new playbook and get worked back into a new system. Although banged up Sam Da Man did a great job patching up their sunken ship. Adding players like Robbie Anderson lead their team on a winning streak that had them in playoff contention all the way into week 13. Their season ended similar to Cory’s Saved by Lev Bells with one final injury to RB Tevin Coleman reminding them of what they had been through.

Odell Beckham Jr. R1, Jay Ajayi R2, Dalvin Cook R3, Davante Adams R4 (one week), Kelvin Benhamin R6, Cameron Meredith R12, Tevin Coleman Undrafted

Fantasy Battle Royale Week 13

Week 13 is wrapped up!

Congrats to this weeks winners! The third playoff spot is locked up with TY-Hill-Sachs Lesion putting up a huge week over Hondo’s Gridiron. Bledsodian and Sam Da Man fall out of the playoff race and Mo’s Men Minus James leads Cory’s Saved By Lev’ Bells by 1 game going into the last week of the regular season.

Featured games

There were some big games this week but since were so close to the end of the season Ill be focusing on the ones that are shaping up the playoff race.

Cory’s Saved By Le’v Bells Vs. Bledsodian

Oh hot dang! What a buzzer beater. Starting off Thursday the formerly Cory’s Olsen Twins got off to a horrible start with Vernon Davis putting up a measly 1.5 points. The only saving grace for them was that their opponent ONCE AGAIN! started not one but TWO players who were out for the week. The games started Sunday morning and it seemed that Bledsodian was showing off with one hand behind their back. Their 8 remaining players each went off. Multiple players put up 20 points with only one poor performance from their star WR Julio Jones putting up only 2.4 points.  On the other side of the field Cory’s Olsen Twins  were carried as usual by Greg “Legatron” Zuerlein putting up his usual 17 points, but the rest of their team struggled to keep up each having mediocre performances. After the Eagles finished middle of the road on Sunday night it looked like Bledsodian was going to knock Cory’s Olsen Twins out of play off contention. Down 23 points Le’veon Bell started off slow on Monday night. That is until he caught a screen pass from Big Ben and took it 35 yards to the house. That play started a fire in Bell and he continued to chunk yards every play. Pass after pass he slowly closed the gap on Bledsodian until with 3 minutes left in the 4th quarter both the Olsen Twins and Bledsodian were tied 102.72 vs 102.72. The Steelers came to 3rd down and long on their final drive of the game where the completed one last pass to Bell to push Cory’s Olsen Twins over the top and keep them in the playoff push.

Mo’s Men Minus James Vs. Sam Da Man

Not as exciting of a match up but with just as much playoff effects. Finding them self once again in a must in match up Sam Da Man wasn’t feeling too hot after Kirk Cousins got shut down by the usually soft Dallas defense. Sunday didn’t start off looking good either. Sam Da man’s team looked like it had just run out of Juice. Besides Robbie Anderson put up his usual 10 points, it was poor performance after poor performance. Mo’s Men had the Rams dominate the Cardinals and lead their team with a 21 point performance dwarfing Sam’s 3 points from the Steelers. Kenny stills had a huge 99 yard game with a TD that smothered Paul Richardson, and Evan Engram crushed it with 15 points over Kyle Rudolph. With this 114-75 win Mo’s Men Minus James stops Sam Da Man’s Playoff run and positions them self in a Win and In scenario going into a tough final match up against TY-Hill-Sachs Lesion.

Crazy stat that I had seen while looking at this match up. Although Mo’s Men Minus James is currently ranked in 4th place they would be 2-9 if they played the same schedule as Sam Da Man and if Sam Da Man had played Mo’s schedule they would have been 7-4.

Power Rankings

The reason you are all here. Week 13 power rankings are here!

Sam Da Man moves back into 10th place, A tie for second, and for 6th. Power rankings are pretty meaningless now with the actual season coming so close to a close. So instead of talking about them I’m gonna continue talking about what is at stake for next week.

Up at the top Carol’s Cool team has looked immortal all season but is now within striking distance that Ty-Hill-Sachs Lesion could snipe first place with a big week and a loss by Carol’s Cool team.

In the race for the last playoff spot Mo’s Men Minus James has a win and in situation with Cory’s Saved By Le’v Bells are capable of stealing it with a win and a Mo’s Men loss.

In the middle of the pack it is anyones game with many people not only tied in wins but also close in points.

Down at the bottom of the league Girl’s Rule has had the unfortunate fate of having the 4th most points in the league while getting beat by top scoring team after top scoring team. Only one game behind Megan’s Cooper Troopers a win for them and a loss for the Troopers could thrust Megan into last place for the regular season.

Best of luck this week to everyone. This last regular season week is a big one for many people. For those who are pretty settled in the rankings look forward to the next couple weeks because after the regular season comes the playoffs and the consolation bracket.

Fantasy Battle Royale Week 12

Week 12 is done!

Congrats to this weeks winners! Carol’s Cool Team and Hondo’s Gridiron have locked up up a playoff spot for them selves and are now just fighting for regular season champion. Besides them, the playoff push is gonna be close. Right now 4 teams are still in the race for that last coveted spot and for many it is do or die.

Featured games

With Traveling back from Texas this weekend I didn’t get to watch too much football so only one game of the week this update.

Carol’s Cool Team Vs. Sam Da Man

It was do or die for Sam Da Man and he came out swinging! Down the stretch many teams need to win out to make the cut and for Sam Da Man that certainly looks to be the plan. On a 3 game winning streak, Sam Da Man started out on fire this Thanksgiving. Kyle Rudolph lead the team with 18.3 points on 63 yards and 2 touchdowns to take the early lead over Carol’s Cool Team, but later in the after noon Cool Team struck back. Keenan Allen dropped his second monster game in a row. With 14 Targets Allen reeled in 11 of them for 172 yards and 1 touchdown to put Carol’s Team back on top. As Sunday came around things began to fall apart for Carol’s Cool Team. Both Krispy Kareem and Jordan Howard should have laid off the turkey because they both took a nap and combined for 4.5 points this week. While Carol’s Cool Team struggled, Sam Da Man’s lead receiver Robbie Anderson decided to tell Keenan Allen who is the real top dog. Anderson went bananas on the Carolina panthers for 146 yards and a pair of touchdowns, before Davante Adams locked up the week with his 82 yards and another touchdown in the Sunday night game. Once again putting up his highest week. Sam Da Man continues his playoff run defeating Carol’s Cool Team 123.58 to 110.42.

Power Rankings

The reason you are all here. Week 12 power rankings are here!

Sam Da Man moves out of 10th place! The top 3 have really separated themselves from the pack with their lowest score being 3.8 followed by a huge drop of to Cory’s Olsen Twins all the way down at a score of 8. Next week is the last week for power rankings since after week 14 the playoff and consolation bracket will have been decided. Best of luck this week to everyone its make or break from here on out.

Fantasy Battle Royale Week 11

Week 11 is over!

Congrats to this weeks winners! Its getting down to the wire with a real fight for those last few playoff spots.

Featured games

TY-Hill-Sachs Lesion Vs. Girls Rule

Two good weekly performances by these teams but Girls Rule took the win on Monday night. Ty-Hill-Sachs Lesion started off strong with their Saints RBs once again putting up over 40 points between the two of them. Since week 5 when the Saints let go of RB Adrian Peterson both of their other RBs Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara have been the #1 and the #2 RB in all of fantasy football! Lucky for Girls Rule that her RBs didn’t let her down either. Both McCoy and Fournette stepped up with 36 total points keeping her in the game. The RBs weren’t the only thing hot in this matchup, it was a defensive shoot out. The Ravens edged out Jacksonville 26 to 25 giving Ty-Hill-Sachs Lesion the lead but not by much. As the afternoon games started Ty-Hill-Sachs Lesion went from burning hot fire to a straight up popsicle. 4 of their players combined for a total of 5.9 points including K Jake Elliott who left the Eagles game with a concussion. Monday night came around and Girls Rule trailed by 9.1 points with 2 players left. Both QB Matt Ryan and WR Doug Baldwin combined for 27 points for Girls Rule’s highest score of the season and the win over Ty-Hill-Sachs Lesion.

Bledsoedian Vs. Carol’s Cool Bench

One of the closest match ups of the week. Bledsodian’s decent Thursday night performance was out shined as their QB Marcus Mariota connected with Carol’s Cool Bench’s WR Rishard Matthews. Matthews 113 yards and a TD completely negated Mariotas points and set up for an interesting Sunday. In the early games Carols Bench took off. Latavius Murray dominated the Rams with 96 yards and 2 touchdowns. Along with a solid performance from RB Duke Johnson Jr. the two RBs combined for over 34 points. The bulk of Bledsodians players started in the mid day games. WR Michael Thomas and K Will Luts piled on the points during the Saints big come back over Washington. Combining for 26 points surely that would seal the week, but on the other side of the league Carol’s Cool Bench had different plans. WR Keenan Allen was Buffalo’s Kryptonite. In just the first 1/2 he had scored nearly 28 points before being benched early in the 3rd quarter. 162 yards and two touchdowns put the Chargers so far ahead of Buffalo that they decided to pull most of their starters when the game was only half over. It wasn’t until Monday night that Bledsodian was able to take back the lead with Julio Jones 7 point performance. 98.34 to 92.4, Bledsodian took the win over Carol’s Cool Bench this week, but unfortunately for Bledsodian he was actually facing Carol’s Cool Team who lead by Russell Wilson had another fantastic week crushing Bledsodian 121.62 to 98.34.

Power Rankings

The reason you are all here. Week 11 power rankings are here!

Cory’s Ty Fighters bounces back once again yo-yoing as usual, while everyone else stays mostly the same with a little bit of jostle here and there.  Meg’s Cooper Troopers continues to plummet in roster strength with Girl’s Rule on the rise. Im a little surprised that Sam Da Man didn’t get a bump on the power chats this week. With only 3 weeks left before the playoffs there are plenty of potential out comes for those last spots and even for those who wont end top 4 the race is so close that only one win separates 10th place from 6th.

Fantasy Battle Royale Week 10

Week 10 wraps up!

Congrats to the winners! The dust settles and Rivalry week is over. All of those prevailed now get to have a franchise record over your rivals for a whole year.

Featured games

Every game is a featured game in Rivalry Week!

Sam Da Man Vs. Cory’s Ty Fighters

To start us off, Sam Da Man may have just crushed Cory’s Ty Fighters Playoff dreams over coming a projected 12 point deficit. The majority of Sams players started in the morning games and had him thinking paper men were going to do it again. With 3 quarters of the morning games over nearly every one of Sam Da Man’s players was under performing projections. Cory’s Ty Fighters’ Smile got wiped off their face though during the 4th quarter. Touchdown Adams! Touchdown Anderson! Touchdown Detroit! In a 5 minute span Dam Da Man had dropped a 40 point bomb on the Ty fighters. Mid way through the afternoon games it looked to be over for the Ty Fighters’ Jared Goff had but 2 points at the half and things seemed hopeless. That was until Cory had a locker room talk with Goff and told him to get things straight! “If there is a week we lose it cant be this one” he said. Goff came out of the locker room a new man and looked like a monster turning his 2 points into 26, the third best QB of the week only topped  by Sam’s Kirk Cousins and Cam Newton. Legatron did his usual 17 point thing and put the Fighters right back into striking position. On Monday night it was all up to Davante Parker who had everything he needed besides a Touchdown. the Dolphins made it to the red zone multiple times but it was TE Julius Thomas who reeled in what could have been the Fighters saving grace. After suffering the most injuries by far Sam Da Man has pulled their team up from the ashes and came up big this week with their highest score of the season not only moving up in the standings but taking the lead in this Rivalry.

Bledsoedian Vs. Hondo’s Gridiron

Next up, a Monday night Miracle with Bledsoedian making a huge comeback on Hondo’s Gridiron. After Hondo’s Gridiron came out hot with a 2 touchdown game by jimmy Graham, both teams seemed to struggle on Sunday morning.  Drew Brees, Antonio Brown, Chicago DST, and Julio Jones all underperformed. The afternoon games weren’t much better with Alfred morris putting up only 5 points in the Cowboys blowout loss, Will Fuller taking an incredibly painful looking hit removing him from the game, and Lamar Miller starting the game hot with 78 first half yards only to not be used in the second half. Going into Monday night Bledsoedian was down 30 points in what looked like a a tough comeback, but once the game started they made it look easy. After throwing an early interception, Cam went on to throw 4 touchdowns and put up a huge 35 point game. Julius Thomas also didn’t disappoint bringing in a TD for himself. The last half of the game was all style points for the Bledsodian’s and they went on to score 14 more points even after they had the win. Its been a rough season for Bledsodian but that didn’t stop them from coming up Clutch when it counts.

Carol’s Cool Team Vs. Doctor’s w/o Bortles

Carol’s Cool Team takes their second loss! Striken by bye weeks, Carol’s Cool Team put up a valiant effort. Most of her players had solid performances with her only major bust being her fill in TE Hunter Henry who only put ip .7 points. This match up wasn’t really about Carol’s Team performance though. No matter what she did it was going to be a tough match up against Doctors w/o Bortles when two of his running backs finished as top 4 performers. Totaling 50.9 points the saints running backs combined for 237 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns. The Saints were gashing the Bills so hard that at one point they ran an unheard of 24 rushing plays in a row! The Saints RBs along with the Rams DST carried D w/o B to a win, straight putting the rest of their players on their back. Every single other one of their player under performed. The worst offenders being QB Tyrod Taylor with his sub 4 point game and the player who won him week 9 T.Y. Hilton putting up only 2 points. With their RBs leading the Charge Doctors w/o Bortles not only takes the Rivalry lead but is hot on the heels of Carol now moving into second place.

Yago’s Team Totality Vs. Girls Rule

Another Monday night win! Entering the Week Girls Rule had a projected 12 point lead. Lead by her two stud running backs she hoped to rectify their week 7 loss, but once the morning games started things were looking bad. Two of her RBs underperformed by 20 points and her third suffered an MLC sprain and will be out for the season. Rookie Juju Smith-Schuster did her right though exactly tieing Yago’s best WR Golden Tate with 15.7 points.  Starting the mid day games Yago’s Team Totality looked like they were going to pull ahead until Dak Prescott was sacked 7 times during the cowboys game. With LT Tyron Smith out of the game the Cowboys fill in could do nothing to stop the Falcons Defense. After Dak only posted 13 points, Girls rule was behind going into Monday Night, but wasn’t going down without a fight. WR Devin Funchess came out swinging with an incredible 2 touchdown 92 yard performance. it took everything that Yago’s Rookie RB Christian McCaffrey had to hold off Girls Rule’s attack. While he didn’t get that many yards he answered back tit for tat with a rushing and receiving touchdown of his own. Brother vs. Sister has been decided for this year and Yago’s Team Totality clenches the win in an exciting Monday night race.

Mo’s Men Minus James Vs. Megan’s Cooper Troopers

The last game this week was between the leagues high stakes gamblers. With one Target special edition Taylor swift CD on the line, the Twins put their best lineups forward. Mo’s Men Minus James started the week off incredibly strong with Adam Thielen putting up a sick 22.6 points on 166 yards and a touchdown. Although that is where the huge plays ended. Both teams failed to make their projections with under performers on all sides. Meg’s Cooper Troopers’ Dez Bryant suffered from the Cowboys O Line problems while Mo’s Mens’ Devonta Freeman suffered his second concussion of the season. Both quarter backs kept the game close but in the end Jarvis Landry couldn’t overcome the difference going into Monday nights game. Taking the twin trophy for the year Mo’s Men Minus James will soon be listening to the sweet tunes of T Swifty along with the tunes of victory.

Featured games

Todd had as good as shot as ever against Carol this week considering that literally her entire
bench was on Bye. She even had to play Zach Ertz who was injured, although that was a
surprise hold out for sure. Unfortunately, it seems Todd forgot to set his Defense until Monday.
Not sure if that was intentional or not, but if he had played Seattle’s D who was sitting on his
bench he would have won the week! Hopefully that decision doesn’t come back to haunt Todd
come playoff time.

Morgan and Kim faced off this week in a match that came down to Monday night. LeSean
McCoy got Kim off to a rough start Thursday night only putting up 2.5 points. She managed to
recover some on Sunday with big games from Cook, Ivory, Watkins, and Baldwin but Alex
Collins also went on to disappoint. Morgan was down going into Monday night with Stafford
and Nelson left to play and if I told you that Jordy Nelson only got 3.5 points you would think
Kim pulled it off, but unfortunately the Lions were hot and Stafford exploded with 22.4 points
to take the lead. Too bad Kim had Rob Kelley on her bench, his 2 TDs would have won her the
game.

Power Rankings

The reason you are all here. Week 8 power rankings are here!

Carol reclaims her lead as #1 in all categories after her win against Todd this week, the
complete dumpster fire that is the Bucs as well as Mike Evans’ suspension really hurt Todd’s
roster strength with Evans and Martin.

Cory’s TY Fighters takes a huge jump in strength ROS with the realization that Carson Wentz is
the GOAT as well as Greg “Legatron” Zuerlein and some hope for Alshon Jeffrey.
