Fantasy Battle Royale Week 12

Week 12 is done!

Congrats to this weeks winners! Carol’s Cool Team and Hondo’s Gridiron have locked up up a playoff spot for them selves and are now just fighting for regular season champion. Besides them, the playoff push is gonna be close. Right now 4 teams are still in the race for that last coveted spot and for many it is do or die.

Featured games

With Traveling back from Texas this weekend I didn’t get to watch too much football so only one game of the week this update.

Carol’s Cool Team Vs. Sam Da Man

It was do or die for Sam Da Man and he came out swinging! Down the stretch many teams need to win out to make the cut and for Sam Da Man that certainly looks to be the plan. On a 3 game winning streak, Sam Da Man started out on fire this Thanksgiving. Kyle Rudolph lead the team with 18.3 points on 63 yards and 2 touchdowns to take the early lead over Carol’s Cool Team, but later in the after noon Cool Team struck back. Keenan Allen dropped his second monster game in a row. With 14 Targets Allen reeled in 11 of them for 172 yards and 1 touchdown to put Carol’s Team back on top. As Sunday came around things began to fall apart for Carol’s Cool Team. Both Krispy Kareem and Jordan Howard should have laid off the turkey because they both took a nap and combined for 4.5 points this week. While Carol’s Cool Team struggled, Sam Da Man’s lead receiver Robbie Anderson decided to tell Keenan Allen who is the real top dog. Anderson went bananas on the Carolina panthers for 146 yards and a pair of touchdowns, before Davante Adams locked up the week with his 82 yards and another touchdown in the Sunday night game. Once again putting up his highest week. Sam Da Man continues his playoff run defeating Carol’s Cool Team 123.58 to 110.42.

Power Rankings

The reason you are all here. Week 12 power rankings are here!

Sam Da Man moves out of 10th place! The top 3 have really separated themselves from the pack with their lowest score being 3.8 followed by a huge drop of to Cory’s Olsen Twins all the way down at a score of 8. Next week is the last week for power rankings since after week 14 the playoff and consolation bracket will have been decided. Best of luck this week to everyone its make or break from here on out.

Fantasy Battle Royale Week 11

Week 11 is over!

Congrats to this weeks winners! Its getting down to the wire with a real fight for those last few playoff spots.

Featured games

TY-Hill-Sachs Lesion Vs. Girls Rule

Two good weekly performances by these teams but Girls Rule took the win on Monday night. Ty-Hill-Sachs Lesion started off strong with their Saints RBs once again putting up over 40 points between the two of them. Since week 5 when the Saints let go of RB Adrian Peterson both of their other RBs Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara have been the #1 and the #2 RB in all of fantasy football! Lucky for Girls Rule that her RBs didn’t let her down either. Both McCoy and Fournette stepped up with 36 total points keeping her in the game. The RBs weren’t the only thing hot in this matchup, it was a defensive shoot out. The Ravens edged out Jacksonville 26 to 25 giving Ty-Hill-Sachs Lesion the lead but not by much. As the afternoon games started Ty-Hill-Sachs Lesion went from burning hot fire to a straight up popsicle. 4 of their players combined for a total of 5.9 points including K Jake Elliott who left the Eagles game with a concussion. Monday night came around and Girls Rule trailed by 9.1 points with 2 players left. Both QB Matt Ryan and WR Doug Baldwin combined for 27 points for Girls Rule’s highest score of the season and the win over Ty-Hill-Sachs Lesion.

Bledsoedian Vs. Carol’s Cool Bench

One of the closest match ups of the week. Bledsodian’s decent Thursday night performance was out shined as their QB Marcus Mariota connected with Carol’s Cool Bench’s WR Rishard Matthews. Matthews 113 yards and a TD completely negated Mariotas points and set up for an interesting Sunday. In the early games Carols Bench took off. Latavius Murray dominated the Rams with 96 yards and 2 touchdowns. Along with a solid performance from RB Duke Johnson Jr. the two RBs combined for over 34 points. The bulk of Bledsodians players started in the mid day games. WR Michael Thomas and K Will Luts piled on the points during the Saints big come back over Washington. Combining for 26 points surely that would seal the week, but on the other side of the league Carol’s Cool Bench had different plans. WR Keenan Allen was Buffalo’s Kryptonite. In just the first 1/2 he had scored nearly 28 points before being benched early in the 3rd quarter. 162 yards and two touchdowns put the Chargers so far ahead of Buffalo that they decided to pull most of their starters when the game was only half over. It wasn’t until Monday night that Bledsodian was able to take back the lead with Julio Jones 7 point performance. 98.34 to 92.4, Bledsodian took the win over Carol’s Cool Bench this week, but unfortunately for Bledsodian he was actually facing Carol’s Cool Team who lead by Russell Wilson had another fantastic week crushing Bledsodian 121.62 to 98.34.

Power Rankings

The reason you are all here. Week 11 power rankings are here!

Cory’s Ty Fighters bounces back once again yo-yoing as usual, while everyone else stays mostly the same with a little bit of jostle here and there.  Meg’s Cooper Troopers continues to plummet in roster strength with Girl’s Rule on the rise. Im a little surprised that Sam Da Man didn’t get a bump on the power chats this week. With only 3 weeks left before the playoffs there are plenty of potential out comes for those last spots and even for those who wont end top 4 the race is so close that only one win separates 10th place from 6th.

Fantasy Battle Royale Week 10

Week 10 wraps up!

Congrats to the winners! The dust settles and Rivalry week is over. All of those prevailed now get to have a franchise record over your rivals for a whole year.

Featured games

Every game is a featured game in Rivalry Week!

Sam Da Man Vs. Cory’s Ty Fighters

To start us off, Sam Da Man may have just crushed Cory’s Ty Fighters Playoff dreams over coming a projected 12 point deficit. The majority of Sams players started in the morning games and had him thinking paper men were going to do it again. With 3 quarters of the morning games over nearly every one of Sam Da Man’s players was under performing projections. Cory’s Ty Fighters’ Smile got wiped off their face though during the 4th quarter. Touchdown Adams! Touchdown Anderson! Touchdown Detroit! In a 5 minute span Dam Da Man had dropped a 40 point bomb on the Ty fighters. Mid way through the afternoon games it looked to be over for the Ty Fighters’ Jared Goff had but 2 points at the half and things seemed hopeless. That was until Cory had a locker room talk with Goff and told him to get things straight! “If there is a week we lose it cant be this one” he said. Goff came out of the locker room a new man and looked like a monster turning his 2 points into 26, the third best QB of the week only topped  by Sam’s Kirk Cousins and Cam Newton. Legatron did his usual 17 point thing and put the Fighters right back into striking position. On Monday night it was all up to Davante Parker who had everything he needed besides a Touchdown. the Dolphins made it to the red zone multiple times but it was TE Julius Thomas who reeled in what could have been the Fighters saving grace. After suffering the most injuries by far Sam Da Man has pulled their team up from the ashes and came up big this week with their highest score of the season not only moving up in the standings but taking the lead in this Rivalry.

Bledsoedian Vs. Hondo’s Gridiron

Next up, a Monday night Miracle with Bledsoedian making a huge comeback on Hondo’s Gridiron. After Hondo’s Gridiron came out hot with a 2 touchdown game by jimmy Graham, both teams seemed to struggle on Sunday morning.  Drew Brees, Antonio Brown, Chicago DST, and Julio Jones all underperformed. The afternoon games weren’t much better with Alfred morris putting up only 5 points in the Cowboys blowout loss, Will Fuller taking an incredibly painful looking hit removing him from the game, and Lamar Miller starting the game hot with 78 first half yards only to not be used in the second half. Going into Monday night Bledsoedian was down 30 points in what looked like a a tough comeback, but once the game started they made it look easy. After throwing an early interception, Cam went on to throw 4 touchdowns and put up a huge 35 point game. Julius Thomas also didn’t disappoint bringing in a TD for himself. The last half of the game was all style points for the Bledsodian’s and they went on to score 14 more points even after they had the win. Its been a rough season for Bledsodian but that didn’t stop them from coming up Clutch when it counts.

Carol’s Cool Team Vs. Doctor’s w/o Bortles

Carol’s Cool Team takes their second loss! Striken by bye weeks, Carol’s Cool Team put up a valiant effort. Most of her players had solid performances with her only major bust being her fill in TE Hunter Henry who only put ip .7 points. This match up wasn’t really about Carol’s Team performance though. No matter what she did it was going to be a tough match up against Doctors w/o Bortles when two of his running backs finished as top 4 performers. Totaling 50.9 points the saints running backs combined for 237 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns. The Saints were gashing the Bills so hard that at one point they ran an unheard of 24 rushing plays in a row! The Saints RBs along with the Rams DST carried D w/o B to a win, straight putting the rest of their players on their back. Every single other one of their player under performed. The worst offenders being QB Tyrod Taylor with his sub 4 point game and the player who won him week 9 T.Y. Hilton putting up only 2 points. With their RBs leading the Charge Doctors w/o Bortles not only takes the Rivalry lead but is hot on the heels of Carol now moving into second place.

Yago’s Team Totality Vs. Girls Rule

Another Monday night win! Entering the Week Girls Rule had a projected 12 point lead. Lead by her two stud running backs she hoped to rectify their week 7 loss, but once the morning games started things were looking bad. Two of her RBs underperformed by 20 points and her third suffered an MLC sprain and will be out for the season. Rookie Juju Smith-Schuster did her right though exactly tieing Yago’s best WR Golden Tate with 15.7 points.  Starting the mid day games Yago’s Team Totality looked like they were going to pull ahead until Dak Prescott was sacked 7 times during the cowboys game. With LT Tyron Smith out of the game the Cowboys fill in could do nothing to stop the Falcons Defense. After Dak only posted 13 points, Girls rule was behind going into Monday Night, but wasn’t going down without a fight. WR Devin Funchess came out swinging with an incredible 2 touchdown 92 yard performance. it took everything that Yago’s Rookie RB Christian McCaffrey had to hold off Girls Rule’s attack. While he didn’t get that many yards he answered back tit for tat with a rushing and receiving touchdown of his own. Brother vs. Sister has been decided for this year and Yago’s Team Totality clenches the win in an exciting Monday night race.

Mo’s Men Minus James Vs. Megan’s Cooper Troopers

The last game this week was between the leagues high stakes gamblers. With one Target special edition Taylor swift CD on the line, the Twins put their best lineups forward. Mo’s Men Minus James started the week off incredibly strong with Adam Thielen putting up a sick 22.6 points on 166 yards and a touchdown. Although that is where the huge plays ended. Both teams failed to make their projections with under performers on all sides. Meg’s Cooper Troopers’ Dez Bryant suffered from the Cowboys O Line problems while Mo’s Mens’ Devonta Freeman suffered his second concussion of the season. Both quarter backs kept the game close but in the end Jarvis Landry couldn’t overcome the difference going into Monday nights game. Taking the twin trophy for the year Mo’s Men Minus James will soon be listening to the sweet tunes of T Swifty along with the tunes of victory.

Power Rankings

The reason you are all here. Week 10 power rankings are here!

Doctors w/o Bortles continues their climb up the charts. After the Saints RB performance the rankings have them in second place for all categories. Even without Zeke Hondo’s Gridiron holds out in third place and surprisingly Megs Cooper Troopers hangs in 4th even with their 4-6 record.

Fantasy Battle Royale Week 9

Week 9 is over!

Congrats to the winners! This weeks recap brought to you by Max Brown, The proud manager of the Doctors Without Bortles.

Todd had as good as shot as ever against Carol this week considering that literally her entire
bench was on Bye. She even had to play Zach Ertz who was injured, although that was a
surprise hold out for sure. Unfortunately, it seems Todd forgot to set his Defense until Monday.
Not sure if that was intentional or not, but if he had played Seattle’s D who was sitting on his
bench he would have won the week! Hopefully that decision doesn’t come back to haunt Todd
come playoff time.

Morgan and Kim faced off this week in a match that came down to Monday night. LeSean
McCoy got Kim off to a rough start Thursday night only putting up 2.5 points. She managed to
recover some on Sunday with big games from Cook, Ivory, Watkins, and Baldwin but Alex
Collins also went on to disappoint. Morgan was down going into Monday night with Stafford
and Nelson left to play and if I told you that Jordy Nelson only got 3.5 points you would think
Kim pulled it off, but unfortunately the Lions were hot and Stafford exploded with 22.4 points
to take the lead. Too bad Kim had Rob Kelley on her bench, his 2 TDs would have won her the
game.

Power Rankings

The reason you are all here. Week 8 power rankings are here!

Carol reclaims her lead as #1 in all categories after her win against Todd this week, the
complete dumpster fire that is the Bucs as well as Mike Evans’ suspension really hurt Todd’s
roster strength with Evans and Martin.

Cory’s TY Fighters takes a huge jump in strength ROS with the realization that Carson Wentz is
the GOAT as well as Greg “Legatron” Zuerlein and some hope for Alshon Jeffrey.

Fantasy Battle Royale Week 8

Week 8 is wrapped up!

Congrats to the winners! Everyone is still in the race for that last playoff spot along with some stiff competition at the top!

Featured games

Starting Sunday morning Sam Da Man’s players looked like they were poised for a huge week. Justin Tucker and Jerick McKinnon both had big games on Thursday night and early Sunday morning. Sam Da Man had a big lead, but once the bulk of the early games started Sam and D w/o B were in a boat race. Ingram scores! Anderson Scores! Benjamin! Gronkowski! Both teams were raining touchdowns. Nearing the end of the NO vs Chi game Ted Ginn Jr. came down with a huge 53 yard catch that looked like it would put Sam Da Man into victory mode, but once the mid day games started the momentum began to shift. The predicted to be high scoring Dallas and Washington game became grinder with both quarter backs adding up to less than 20 total fantasy points. While on the other side of the league he Houston texans and the Seattle Seahawks were locked in a straight up shootout. Lead by Deshaun Watson throwing 4 TDs for over 400 yards and rushing for another 67 on the ground, Doctors w/o Bortles pulled ahead in a lead that Sam Da Man wouldn’t be able to overcome on Monday night.

Once again Megs Cooper Troopers got out to a massive lead after Thursday night. With Baltimore D putting up 29 points they looked like a sure thing. Come Sunday though Megs Cooper Troopers once again forgot to swap out a player on bye creating an opening for Girls Rule. Lead by LeSean McCoy’s huge 150 yard game Girls Rule fought through some tough bye weeks to surpass Megs Cooper Troopers and hold a 9 point lead going into Monday night. With only her kicker left Megs Cooper Troopers had their hopes and dreams on the shoulders of rookie Harrison Butker of the KC Chiefs. Through the first half the chiefs had two extra points but their shot at a field goal before the half was ruined by a sloppy interception on a trick play pass from Tyreek hill. At this point the game could go either way. Luckily for Megs Cooper Troopers, KC answered back with a last minute fumble recovery and Butker was able to chip one in before the clock wound down. In the second half Girls Rule’s remaining lead didn’t last long. The Chiefs offense began to stutter and the ball stopped moving down field in the red zone. Butker became instrumental in the Chiefs win over the Broncos and ended the week as the #1 fantasy kicker. Kick after kick he sank them all finishing with one 50+ yarder, two 40+ yarders and two FGs under 30 yards.

Injuries

Not too bad of a week. Although with 6 teams on bye there is a lot less of a chance for players to get hurt. TE Jordan Reed pulled his hammmy and QB Jamis Winston looks like he may have retweaked the sprain in his AC joint.

Suffering the worst injuries this week was Mo’s Men Minus James. Jordan Reed hasn’t been a huge fantasy performer this year but when he is healthy he can be explosive. Here is hoping he will get better soon.

This week plenty more NFL teams are on bye so make sure to check your lineups because its gonna be a hectic one. Waivers run tonight. Make sure you don’t get caught without starting players.

Trades

Bledsoedian and Cory’s Ty Fighters decide to trade some RB depth for some WR depth, to cover upcoming bye weeks. Not really a block buster deal but it should round out both teams.

Power Rankings

The reason you are all here. Week 8 power rankings are here!

Carol’s Cool Team stays on top, but is no longer 1st place in every category. Yago’s Team Totality has the best projected roster although with their loss they drop down in the power ranking. And Hondo’s Gridiron takes a big roster hit with Zeke’s suspension, but holds on to the second rank. Some interesting notes here are that with the NFL trade deadline players values are more in flux then ever. Jay Ajayi to the Eagles could be a huge boost for Sam Da man, but only time will tell how it all plays out.

Fantasy Battle Royale Week 7

Week 7 is Over!

We are now officially 1/2 way through the regular season and boy are things close. Congrats to the winners! This year is crazy close. Still not a single team that is more than 2 games out of playoff contention!

Featured games

First up Hondo’s Gridion VS Megs Cooper Troopers. Over the first 6 weeks Megs featured player Amari Cooper was averaging a pitiful 3.5 Points a game, but that all changed Thursday night. Cooper crushed Hondo’s dreams in more way than one. Not only did he put up 33 fantasy points on 19 targets for 210 yards and 2 Touchdown but he was also the key feature that put the Kansas City Chiefs on their now 2 game losing streak. When the dust settled after Thursday night Megs Cooper Troopers Lead Hondo’s Gridiron 47 to 1. Sunday morning things began to turn around though. The Gridiron greats put up solid games all around while the Cooper Troopers struggled to get things going. With the gap dwindling the mid day games began and Hondo’s Gridiron really poured on the Juice. Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliot ran for 147 yards and 2 touchdowns  adding on a tiptoe sideline reception for another 72 yards and another touchdown. 40 points later and Hondo’s Gridiron was primed to take the lead. In the night time games Megs Cooper Troopers only hope was for Tom Brady to have a good game while not targeting Brandin Cooks or James white, but at last it didn’t happen early in the first quarter he hit Cooks for a TD sealing Troopers fate.

A much less back and forth match but certainly deserving of a spotlight is the defeat of the leagues Juggernaut. This week Mo’s Men Minus James handedly beat Carol’s Cool Team 102 to 77.  This week was not only Carol’s Cool Team’s worst weak of the year but also the lowest score of the week. Mo’s Men saw their chance and literally ran with it. Her two star running backs Gurley and Freeman put up a combined 30 points that could have been much more if it weren’t for the questionable goal line calls of Falcons Offensive Coordinator Steve Sarkisian. Mo’s Men’s QB Jameis Winston put up a bit of a scare as he looked like trash for the first half of the game but bounced back for a very nice 24 points. Last but not the least of their big scorers of the week was Greg “Legatron” Zurlein putting up his 3rd game of the season with over 15 fantasy points locking him in as the leagues leading kicker through week 7.

Injuries

Even more QB Injuries this week along with TE Delanie Walker and the kicker who lost me the week Dan Bailey.

Suffering the worst injuries this week was Girls Rule. Delanie Walker is going into a bye and hopefully will come out the other end healthy but if not his replacement will certainly be a downgrade.

This week 6 NFL teams are on bye so make sure to check your lineups because its gonna be a hectic one. Waivers run tonight. Make sure you don’t get caught without starting players.

Power Rankings

The reason you are all here. Week 7 power rankings are here!

Carol’s Cool Team takes their first loss but it isn’t enough to shift the rankings . Yago’s Team Totality continues their rise to superstardom with their 3 game winning streak, while Girls Rule continues to fall in the rankings after their hot start to the season. Sam Da Man picks up their second win and is on the cusp of moving up a rank but it isn’t quite enough to move them out of the 10th rank. It will be a scramble this week with 6 NFL teams are on bye. Will Carol’s Cool Team Get back on track or is this the beginning of their end. Can Yago’s Total Team Totality and Sam Da Man keep their Win streaks alive and right the ship? With 1/2 of the regular season all teams are still in playoff contention so keep up the fight.

Fantasy Battle Royale Week 6

Week 6 down!

A bunch of close games this week. Congrats to the winners! This year is crazy close. Not a single team is more than 2 games out of playoff contention!

Featured games

There were two Monday night races this week. First up, in the lowest scoring game of the week Bledsoedian took on Mo’s men Minus James. Under performing player after under performing player both teams crawled to a sad 56 to 66 point game. Going into Monday night Bledsodian only had one questionable player remaining. When game time came QB Marcus Mariota coming off of a hamstring injury was cleared to play and although hobbled he was still able to put up 15.24 points to pull Bledsoedian into the lead and lock up their the third win of the year.

On the other side of the league there was a shootout between Doctors w/o Bortles and Yago’s Team Totality. As you may have seen in group chat Doctors w/o Bortles started off with over 80 points from only 4 of their players. It seemed like they were a sure thing to win until the afternoon games played out. Yago’s Team Totality turned on the heat lead by veteran WR Larry Fitzgerald putting up 138 yards and a TD for 17.80 points. By the end of the night, the script was flipped and it looked like Doctors w/o Bortles was done for, but Monday the excitement kept up. On just the first drive of the game D w/o B had pulled within just 2 points of Yago but couldn’t close it out as Demarco Murray smashed in a goal line TD raising Yago’s Team Totality win streak to 2.

Injuries

There were a few QB injuries this week but over all it was much calmer than the last few.

Cory’s Ty Fighters once again traded for a Green Bay Packer and they once again got hurt in the first drive of the game. This weeks big injury was Aaron Rodger suffering a broken collar bone. After surgery he will almost certainly be out for the rest of the season.

Two people started players that were ruled out this week so make sure to get your waiver claims in before the end of the night and pick up what you need to have a full lineup come Sunday.

Power Rankings

The reason you are all here. Week 6 power rankings are here!

Carol’s Cool Team does it again leading in every category. The middle ranks continue to shift with Bledsoedian staying ever steady. Most teams all have 3 wins right now so things should really shift depending on how next week pans out.

Fantasy Battle Royale Week 5

Week 5 Is in the books!

Hard fought battles all around this weeks. Congrats to the winners!

Featured games

There weren’t many close games this week, but there could have been. Coming into Sunday night Megs Cooper Troopers held almost a 50 point lead over Bledsoedian but they didn’t give up. Travis Kelce put up a solid 9.8 points before leaving the game with a concussion, Lamar Miller held his own with 8.9 points, and Will Fuller put the team on his back catching 2 huge passes including a 70 yard TD for 18.20 points. All the way down to the last minutes the Texans continued to throw bombs, that could have brought the win, but in the end none came. Bledsoedian made a huge comeback this week but still fell about 9 points short of victory. Things could have been different though if only Bledsodian noticed that QB Marcus Mariota had been ruled out before the game ever started. On their Bench Cam Newton put up an impressive 26.2 points that would have claimed them the W.

Injuries

Once again there were a bunch of injures this week and a lot of them were really bad. Odell Beckham Broke his ankle and JJ Watt fractured his tibial plateau. Waivers will be hot once again this week with teams searching for injury and bye replacements.

Suffering the biggest casualties this week in what has become an almost comical amount of bad luck was once again Sam Da Man. Last week he lost his stud running back and this week his best receiver. After having Yahoos 3rd best ranked draft, Sam Da Man has had injuries to his 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 12th, and 13th picks. It will be tough for Sam Da Man to make playoffs but keep an eye out for him to play spoiler as the season goes on.

Make sure to get your waiver claims in before the end of the night, Not only were there a ton of injuries this week, but Bye weeks are in full swing, so make sure you pick up what you need to have a full lineup come Sunday.

Power Rankings

The reason you are all here. Week 5 power rankings are out!

Carol’s Cool Team has a down week but takes the win anyways! She still leads the league in all criteriabut next week that could change as Carol’s Cool Team has some tough byes while faces off against annual playoff contender Megs Cooper Troopers. Thing begin to even out at the top and bottom of the ranks, but its still a rat race in the middle. Byes are now in full swing, and it should start to show.

Fantasy Battle Royale Week 4

Week 4 Has come to an end!

Hard fought battles all around this weeks. Congrats to the winners and to the losers it’s a close season so far. Nobody is more than 2 games out of playoff contention.

Featured games

What a way to end the week. Going into Monday night there were 3 different games on the line and I was going to write about two of them, but HOLY MOLEY!

There is only one match up that deserves to be featured this week. Going into Monday night Hondo’s Gridiron was down by 7.56. Hondo’s Gridiron quickly gained and lost the lead as his defense’s default 10 points came tumbling down. Redskins scored a Touchdown on their opening drive and continued to put points on the board. Yago’s Team Totality looked to have the game locked, with only 4 seconds left to go their victory was all but guaranteed. Thats when it happened. After a touch back standing on the 25 yard line, the Redskins went for one last play. A quick pass to Crowder, tossed back to Cousins. Hit by Jones! The ball goes flying… grabbed by Reed, pitched to Thompson, HIT AGAIN! THE BALL GOES FLYING!!! Houston runs for the ball. What does he do? Does he dive on it to win the game? No. No he doesn’t… He sweeps up the the ball. Plenty of Chiefs to block. To the 10, the 5, the 1, TOUCHDOWN!!! Hondo’s Gridiron and the Chiefs DST Shoot up 8 points to take the lead and shut down Yago’s Team Totality leaving them 0-4 on the season.

Injuries

There were a ton of injures this week and a lot of them were really bad ones. Dalvin Cook tore his ACL and Chris Carson fractured his leg. A multitude of players are out for the season and teams will defiantly be needing the waiver wire this week.

Suffering the biggest casualties this week was once again Sam Da Man. He mentioned in group chat that his team was only good on paper, but it looks like they are also made of paper. Four of Sam Da Man’s starting players suffered some sort of injury this week and his star running back will be out for the season. Hopefully you can find a suitable replacement on the wire this week.

Make sure to get your waiver claims in before the end of the night, Not only were there a ton of injuries this week, but players start to go on Bye this week so make sure you pick up what you need to have a full lineup come Sunday.

Trades

The second trade of the year was accepted on Wednesday night. Afraid of his tough upcoming schedule Cory’s Todd Fathers traded off their teams mascot Todd Gurley in a package deal for Mo’s Men Minus James’ lead running back Ty Montgomery. With the trade pushed through on Thursday night it wasn’t long before buyers remorse set in. Only half a drive into the game Ty Montgomery took a big hit to the chest and had to leave the game with multiple broken ribs. Looks like Mo’s Men Minus James dodged a bullet on this one.

Name Changes

Missing their signature player Cory’s Todd Fathers needed a name change and is now called Cory’s TY Fighters for his newly acquired players T.Y. Hilton and Ty Montgomery.

Power Rankings

The reason you are all here. Week 4 power rankings are out!

Carol’s Cool Team pulls even further ahead for the fourth week in a row! Leading the league in all power ranking criteria she is a force to be reckoned with. I thought the rankings would start settling down this week but its still looks like they are still yo-yoing. Cory’s Ty Fighters and Meg’s Cooper Troopers  move on up, while Girls Rule and Doctors w/o Bortles fall. Byes start next week, so we will get to see how each teams bench strength comes into play.

Fantasy Battle Royale Week 3

Week 3 Has come to a close!

Hard fought battles all around this weeks. Congrats to the winners and to the losers there is plenty of season left.

Featured games

WOWI WOZOWI! In what is likely the highest scoring performance of the season, Carol’s Cool team put Yago’s Team Totality in their place. With this monster game I think we all know who the resident fantasy expert is in that house. Keep an eye on next weeks battle of the titans between first and second place. Can Carol’s cool team hold off Girls Rule to continue 4-0?

Once again Doctors w/o Bortles Came from behind to get the win. Facing a devastating 30 point performance by Gurley on Thursday night, they held their ground and rallied back with points on points after Aron Rodgers lead the packers to victory in overtime. Beating out Megs Cooper Troopers, Cory’s Todd Fathers has now taken the lead for the most points against them at 353.

Injuries

Not a ton of injures this week but there were some really bad ones. Darren Sproles tore his ACL and broke his arm on the same play!

Suffering the biggest casualties this week is Sam Da Man. His good weekly performance was brought to a halt when 2 of his players went down in the first half of the first quarter. Here is to hoping that those injuries aren’t too serious.

Make sure to get your waiver claims in before the end of the night, This week isn’t a crazy amazing week for waivers, but there are still some good pick ups out there.

Trades

The first trade of the year was accepted last night. Wanting to mix things up Cory’s Todd Fathers is trading off their biggest player Rob Gronkowski in a package deal for Doctors w/o Bortles lead running back. This trade will go through on Thursday and has not been reflected on the power rankings yet.

Power Rankings

The reason you are all here. Week 3 power rankings are out!

Carol’s Cool Team stays on top for the third week in a row! This weeks dominating performance has her sealed in at #1. Hondo’s Gridiron does indeed bounce back up the rankings and Girls Rule jumps up into second place. Cory’s Todd Fathers and Bledsoedian plummet after their losses this week. It will be interesting to see how things start to level out in weeks 4 and 5 once we have enough data for things settle down.
